Access
Fátima is a town in the
council of Ourém, situated in the centre of Portugal, with
easy and quick access by road and by train to and from the
principal airports in Portugal, and Spanish and French
cities.
The principal roads are the
Motorway nr 1 (A1) and the IC2, besides plenty of other main
roads. The main means of transport are buses, with the
“Rodoviária do Tejo” station in the town about 3km
from the place of the meeting, and train about 20km away,
with Fatima Railway Station in Vale dos Ovos.
For the participants and
their friends who travel by these two means of transport,
connection to the place of the meeting will be ensured, both
on arrival and departure, but is necessary to inform the
organization in advance.
